Twist of Emotions
During the summer of 2018, when on break from teaching I decided to take a leap in my art structure to fo a series of Abstract paintings over approximately 40day period. It produced a series of 67 of my paintings some in series. On My sixtieth birthday I decided to use the theme of Iris’s that i had created for my mom in 1984. The movement is a subconscious flow between two canvases that shared the adventure that my wife at that time had decided in joining in the artist adventure for her first art experience. There is a flow back and forth but still individuals on thier own thoughts. Two months later we separated and divorced a year later.
